Wendy Blond, RDH, BSDHE, MHSA
Wendy served for 1 year as the Georgia Dental Hygienists’ Association President. She is a graduate of Armstrong State University with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene Education and Master of Health Service Administration. She led as president of the student body while attending Gainesville State University (now North Georgia State University) and completed her internship under the Chief Nursing Officers at Memorial Hospital in Savannah, GA. She is published in the American Journal of Dental Hygiene. She has served as a clinical provider in various settings and is a former didactic and clinical educator. She spoke before committees of both the Georgia House and Senate on industry related issues and maintains regular dialog with the Department of Community Health. President Blond is dedicated to representing and leading the profession. She is passionately perusing the integration of preventative dental care services in more healthcare settings and improving the oral and overall health of our community.
Her hobbies include horseback riding, cycling, and riding motorcycles.
